Movsar Evloev

Movsar Evloev is a prominent Russian mixed martial artist, representing the UFC in the featherweight division. Hailing from Sunzha, Republic of Ingushetia, Movsar developed a passion for martial arts from an early age, influenced by his father, a master of sports in boxing. Evloev began his athletic career training in boxing, sambo, and pankration, but focused on Greco-Roman wrestling, achieving the rank of candidate master of sports.

Movsar's education includes degrees in IT and law from Ingush State University. While studying, he worked in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, combining his service with the beginning of his MMA career. His professional debut took place in 2014 at the M-1 Challenge 53 tournament in Beijing, where he defeated Jianwei He.

In 2017, Evloev won the interim M-1 bantamweight title and soon unified it. In 2019, he signed with the UFC and moved up to featherweight. Debuting at a tournament in St. Petersburg, he convincingly defeated Seng Woo Choi.

Movsar is known for his significant victories over opponents such as Diego Lopez and Aljamain Sterling. In July 2025, he topped the UFC featherweight rankings. His last fight took place in March 2026 at UFC Fight Night 270 in London, where he defeated Lerone Murphy.
