Rico Verhoeven, better known as the "King of Kickboxing," is a figure admired and respected in the martial arts world. The Dutch kickboxing heavyweight boasts an impressive career and significant accomplishments. His journey into combat sports began as a child under the guidance of his father, and his career has rapidly gained momentum since then.
Since turning professional in 2004, Verhoeven has competed in prestigious tournaments such as K-1, SUPERKOMBAT, and Glory. His legendary performances have led to numerous victories, including title wins and records in the Glory league: the longest championship reign of 4,220 days, the most wins of 28, and the longest winning streak of 27 fights.
In addition to conquering the heights of kickboxing, Verhoeven has also tried his hand at MMA and boxing. In 2015, he scored a knockout victory over Viktor Bogutskiy at the RXF tournament, and a year earlier, he knocked out Janos Finfera in the boxing ring.
