The Baku Crystal Hall Arena, famous for its magnificent architecture and capacity, will create ideal conditions for spectacular fights. The organizers are working hard to put together a fight card that will bring together both promising newcomers and experienced UFC fighters from different weight classes. The main event of the evening will be a fight between light heavyweights Jamal Hill and Khalil Rountree. The question is whether Rountree will be able to knock out his opponent in the first rounds or Hill will win due to his technique and endurance. Hill's nickname - "Sweet Dreams" - is associated with his successful career: in 2023, he won the UFC light heavyweight title, but soon gave it up due to an Achilles tendon injury. He is also a fan of boxer Floyd Mayweather and trained at his gym.
Khalil Rountree, known as "War Horse," stands out for his powerful punches and tenacity in the octagon. His biography is remarkable: born in Los Angeles to a music producer, he has come a long way from an overweight teenager to a professional fighter. Rountree suffered from excess weight in his youth, but after 19, he radically changed his lifestyle and began to exercise. This led him to the show "The Ultimate Fighter", after which he got into the UFC. Here, his career was changeable: defeats alternated with victories, but he managed to win five victories in a row before the final whistle.
In addition to the main fight of the tournament, spectators can expect preliminary fights, where young athletes will have a chance to prove themselves.
Another intriguing pair will be the meeting of Chechen striker Ismail Naurdiev and South Korean Yun Yong Park Kyoji. Both fighters have impressive experience competing at the professional level and are distinguished by unique styles. Naurdiev is known for his aggressive fighting style and heavy blows; he often finishes his fights early. In recent years, he has been competing under the flag of Morocco after initial successes under the Austrian flag since 2019. In contrast, Pac prefers a more cautious approach: he is a master of wrestling and grappling, which allows him to control opponents on the ground.
