UFC Fight Night 260 tournament will be held on June 21, 2025 in Baku Crystal Hall

The main event of the evening is a light heavyweight bout between Jamal Hill and Khalil Rountree. The two were originally scheduled to meet at UFC 303, but the bout was postponed. Rountree was suspended due to a banned substance test, which he reported, avoiding a long-term suspension. Hill suffered an injury at the same time and was also unable to compete in that bout.

Rountree (13-6) previously fought Alex Pereira for the title and lost to him in the fourth round by knockout, which ended his five-fight winning streak. He is ranked seventh in the UFC light heavyweight rankings. Hill (12-3), the fourth-ranked fighter, lost the title he won in 2023 with a unanimous decision over Glover Teixeira after a string of losses to Pereira and Jiri Prochazka. However, an Achilles tendon injury forced him to give up his championship belt.

The fight will be the UFC's first visit to Baku and will be broadcast on ABC in the United States. The tournament will also feature an interesting lightweight bout between Rafael Fiziev and Ignacio Bahamondes.

Viewers will also see the return of Kyoji Horiguchi after a long break since 2016. The Japanese fighter will fight against Russian lightweight Tagir Ulanbekov, who is ranked tenth in his UFC division and has demonstrated excellent results since the beginning of his career in 2013.

There are also exciting women's fights planned: Irina Alekseeva will face Klaudia Sygula, and Daria Zheleznyakova will fight Melissa Mullins. In the heavyweight category, viewers will see the confrontations between Hamdi Abdulvahhab and Mohammed Usman and Curtis Blaydes and Rizvan Kuniyev.
