Ivan Shtyrkov will fight Gadzhimurad Antigulov

"Ural Hulk" Ivan Shtyrkov will perform as an MMA fighter again! Ivan has had several kickboxing and boxing fights. How did the break from mixed martial arts affect his skills? Ivan Shtyrkov still ranks 3rd in the prestigious Tapology rating among Russian light heavyweight fighters.

Ivan Shtyrkov is a famous Russian sambo wrestler and mixed martial artist. He has three bronze medals in the Russian Sambo Championship, victories in international tournaments and World Cup stages. In 2015, he made his debut in mixed martial arts. He competed in the heavyweight and light heavyweight categories. Among those defeated by Shtyrkov are such famous fighters as Jeff Monson, Antonio Silva, Satoshi Isi, Thiago Silva. 

In total, Shtyrkov had 25 fights, of which he lost two, and one fight ended in a draw. 

As part of RCC 19, Shtyrkov was supposed to meet David Barkhudaryan and Shamil Gamzatov. But both fighters refused to fight Shtyrkov. The final opponent of the "Ural Hulk" was Gadzhimurad Antigulov. 

He is a former successful fighter UFC and ACA. His professional record is 21-10. This performance will be his debut in the RCC league! Antigulov had spectacular fights with Viktor Nemkov, Ion Cutelaba and Maxim Grishin. Gadzhimurad returned to Russia from the UFC several years ago and has already fought in Fight Nights and ACA. 

We remind you that the fighters will meet on May 11 in Yekaterinburg as part of the large-scale international mixed martial arts tournament RCC 19. The tournament will be held at the multifunctional arena of the Uralets Sports and Entertainment Complex.
