Petr Yan on changing training camp and team

Traditionally, the former UFC champion held his training camp in the Southeast Asian country, but this time it was decided to radically change the environment. As the athlete himself says, he intends to go far away from home so that nothing distracts him. Approximately, he plans to spend about two months in America. His colleagues do not have an American visa, and Yan is in a hurry to immerse himself in work in order to work with the new team in advance.

On March 9, in Miami, the Russian will fight at UFC 299 with Chinese Song Yadong. We know little about his opponent - we have seen several fights with his participation. At the same time, he notes that his opponent has a strong punch, an athletic build, determination and composure in his gaze. Yan himself set a goal for himself to compete in the upcoming tournament, because his main motive today is the financial well-being of his family.
