Dubois' team intends to challenge Usyk's victory

From the very first minutes, Oleksandr Usyk actively attacked Daniel Dubois, demonstrating speed and mobility. The Briton, however, remained calm, responded to his opponent, and at some points exploded with a series of accurate blows. After the second round, Dubois noticeably perked up and began to be more active in the ring, while taking the blow well. With each subsequent three minutes, the situation heated up - the fighters fought uncompromisingly.

The fifth round was the culmination. Dubois hit Usyk in the body, after which the attacked man fell and "recovered" for a long time. The referee assessed the incident as a low blow, although the illegal blow could not be seen on the replay. A few minutes later, the fight continued.

After the incident, the Ukrainian picked up the pace, tightened the pressure and took control of the fight into his own hands. Dubois could only defend himself from the champion's blows. In the ninth round, Usyk knocked his opponent down and he was unable to get up. Alexander was awarded the victory.

Daniel Dubois's promoter Frank Warren and trainer Don Charles intend to appeal the outcome of the meeting. They are confident that the boxer did not use a prohibited technique, and the blow landed on the body. Warren and Charles question the outcome of the fight and intend to appeal.
